  • Telemach documents the outside world with a sensitivity to details that ordinarily pass us by. Referencing early film aesthetics, his short film poems in black and white are largely composed of sequences of single camera set-ups and continuous takes, creating a strange tension between movement and stasis, permanence and transience. Often working in collaboration with composer and multi-instrumentalist Tobias Schwab, he fuses playful humour and formal precision.  The works are meditations on the everyday, often banal - urban spaces, ports, railways, where human life is either absent or transitory.

Works include: "Die Ankunft Eines Zuges" (2011) "Europa" (2012), "Passage" (2008), "Doppelgänger" (2017) Arranged through the Guildford-Freiburg Association.
