  • The Chantry Singers
  • The Chantry Singers perform a concert of Sacred Music for Choir and Cello. A programme of music by Bach featuring his motets "Lobet den Herrn" and "Jesu Meine Freude". Interpolated between these movements, cellist George Ross will perform movements from one of Bach's sonatas for unaccompanied cello.

The rest of the programme will feature C15th music by Heinrich Isaac, his "Missa Carminium", and taking inspiration from the C12th ethereal chants of Hildegard von Bingen, the earliest known female composer, the choir plus cello will be premiering a new composition by their conductor Roy Rashbrook.
