Guildford-based orchestra, the Surrey Mozart Players, is delighted to present this concert to open their 2021-22 season.
Celebrating the orchestra’s namesake, two Mozart chamber works are on the programme – the Adagio and Fugue for Strings and the Wind Serenade.
Lucy Humphris, one of the UK’s most innovative and versatile young performers will be performing Hummel’s famous, and famously challenging, trumpet concerto.  The concert ends with Beethoven’s ever-popular Symphony No. 1.  Performing in Holy Trinity Church’s wonderful acoustic, this promises to be a perfect opportunity to experience once more the wonder of live classical music in a beautiful setting.
