Gardening, Growing, and Cooking Through the Year at The Real Downton Abbey

Join Lady Carnarvon for a behind-the-scenes look at daily life at Highclere Castle, also known as the ‘real Downton Abbey’, as it changes through the seasons. With recipes from Highclere’s kitchens and Lady Carnarvon’s own family recipes, gardening tips, and fascinating stories and secrets from the castle's archives, her latest book shines fresh light on the beloved historical house, and how it celebrates and prepares for each new season.

Lady Carnarvon is the wife of Geordie, 8th Earl of Carnarvon, whose family seat is Highclere. The castle was the setting for the much-loved TV series, Downton Abbey, as well as the first film released in autumn 2019. A second film will be released at the end of the year.
