  • An expert on maritime history, Adrian White will deliver a two-part talk examining nineteenth century poor boys recruited on to training ships for the Royal Navy. In this second talk, Adrian will talk in detail about the 'training ship' Mercury, and those boys deemed 'fit enough' to be trained within its hull.
